Mardi Himal Trekking starts from the Lake city Pokhara. The joyous bus drive will take you this vibrant town. The early morning walking starts from Pokhara. Viewing the magnificent lake and city area along with the enchanting views of the mountains the journey heads towards the village of Pritam Deurali. The place is habituated by the Gurung ethnic people. You can observe their culture and traditions too. The journey then heads towards Rest Camp near to the Forest Camp. Earlier the trekking in Mardi Himal used to be the camping trekking trip. Nowadays, lots of lodges and tea houses are opened in the area. Therefore, tea house trekking is viable. Nepal Unique Treks team members visited the area and designed this sophisticated itinerary for the better travelling experience. You can feel the spirituality and tranquility in a single trip.

From Rest Camp the journey heads to High Camp passing by the Forest Camp. Trail is often covered with snow amidst dense forest. From High Camp journey heads to Mardi Himal Base Camp and back come to Low Camp for the overnight. These areas are less crowded and you can enjoy the nature peacefully. From Low camp the journey heads to village of Sidim and then towards Lowang Village. The last day of your trekking in the rural trail is in Lowang. In this village of Gurung Community you can enjoy with the locals. Eat with the locals. Dance with the locals. Finally the journey ends in Pokhara where you can do sightseeing before departing to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
A Nepal Unique Treks representative will be there to pick us up from the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. We take a short drive from the airport to our hotel. After a short rest, we will discuss more about the trek Tour In the Hotel, we have Nepalese cuisine at a welcome dinner hosted by Nepal Unique Treks. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara (827m/2,700ft): 7-8 hr (Option) 35 m By flight KTM -Pokhara 
We can enjoy the beautifully terraced farms, little shops by the side of the road and the raging Trishuli River on our drive to Pokhara also referred to as the ‘City of Lakes.’ From the city, we get great views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, the five peaks of Annapurna. Pokhara is also a tourist destination, so we take some time out in the evening and enjoy!

Overnight in Pokhara. Included: Breakfast, AC Deluxe Hotel and Tourist AC Bus.

Day 03: Drive to Phedi and trek to Deurali (2100m/6,720ft): 30 minutes drive, 4-5 hours trek
After an early morning breakfast, we start our adventure with a drive to Phedi and start trekking from there. We walk on stone steps, terraced fields and through villages and forests before reaching Dhampus where we have lunch. We continue our walk to Deurali which is a small village beautifully located on a ridge with good views of the Annapurna South, Mardi Himal and Macchhapuchhare. Overnight in Derail.

Day 04: Deurali to forest camp (2,520m/8064ft): 6-7 hours
Our trail passes through lush forest dotted with the red rhododendrons. The flowers are a common sight in Nepalese hills and it is no surprise that its Nepal’s national flower. Our trail is very quiet until we reach a clearing of the forest camp. We can take rest and explore the area which is also known locally as Kokar. Overnight in Forest Camp.

Day 05: Forest Camp to low camp (2970m/9504ft): 5-6 hours
We continue to walk through dense forests admiring Nepal’s rich biodiversity and reach the low camp. From here, the fantastic view of Mt. Machapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) up the valley is mesmerizing. We can spend some time in the evening observing the local lifestyle. Overnight in low camp.

Day 06: Low camp to high camp (3540m/11,328ft): 3-4 hours
We trek uphill alongside a ridge towards Mardi Himal and Macchhapuchhre. The tree lines start getting thinner and the area mostly consists of shrubs with isolated rhododendron bushes along the trail. If lucky, we might even come across the Daphne pheasant (national bird of Nepal) on our way to high camp. We ascend up to the high camp, which the final destination of the day. From here the mountain views are stunning. Overnight in high camp.

Day 07: High camp to upper viewpoint (4250m/13600ft), return back to high camp: 2-3 hours
On our trek to the upper viewpoint we ascend and descend, and sometimes on a steep and narrow trail. Our trail passes through pastures and we hike along a narrow ridge before reaching the Upper Viewpoint. The view of the Himalayan vista from here is astonishing. We see Mardi Himal (5587m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna south (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Baraha Shikhar (Mt. Fang) (7647m), Tent Peak (5695m), Singhachuli (6501m), Machapuchhre (6993m) and others. We trek back to the high camp for an overnight stay.

Day 08: High camp to Sidhing Village (1700m/5440ft): 6-7 hours
We take a different route in high camp that takes us to Sidhing instead of going back down to Mardi Himal. The different route lets us experience something different and makes our trek exciting. Siddhing offers a quiet stay for trekkers as it is tucked away from the busier trails. Overnight in Siddhing.

Day 09: Trek to Lumre 3 hrs, drive to Pokhara 2hrs
After an early breakfast, we walk towards Lumre finally reaching the road from where we begin our drive to Pokhara. Overnight stay in Pokhara. (Option)After reaching the city, we continue our drive to its domestic airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Nepal Unique Treks Family will pick us from the airport and drop us off at our hotel. We take a rest and freshen up. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of our Mardi Himal Trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Drive Back to Kathmandu. at evening departure to international Airport 
Early Morning take taxi to bus station then  drive back to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus 7/8 hrs. Our friendly representative will drop you off at the airport. We are sure that you will be inspired to visit Nepal again after this trek. We hope that you choose us to plan your next trip to Nepal.

Useful information while ANNAPURNA
Our Guide and Porters:
Our guides and Sherpa have responsible and long experience in trekking field. Guide speaks English and keeps knowledge about the mountain, mountain sickness, people, and culture. Generally, he will have a right to choose a guest house to stop overnight and right to take a necessary decision if the weather is not favorable if you are physically not in good condition or if there any potential danger of life or etc.
Nepal Unique Treks will provide a porter (helper to carry the luggage) with warm clothing while going to the high mountain. We give priority to the local porter as much as possible.

Guest House during the Trek:
There are nice and clean guest houses in the village on the way to trekking, also known as a tea house. We will accommodate to our trekkers in that guest houses. You will have your own room (twin sharing) and a bathroom is outside. They are safe and people are friendly.

Meal during the Trek:
The general understanding in the mountain, you buy food from the same guest house where you say. We will buy a freshly cooked food from the local guest house. They will have a standard menu which is set by the Local Lodge Management Committee. You can choose your meal from the menu. Food is clean and delicious but not well decorated like a city

Medical facilities during the Trek:
There are rare medical facilities in the mountain. We generally recommend to you bringing own medicine if you having regular medicine otherwise we provide our guide and Sherpa will carry first aid Kidd for all team like (a headache, stomach ache, painkiller, Diamox, bandage, iodine, cotton, gauze, Hansa Plast, common cold, diarrhea, ) to the normal situation. If it is serious, you should go down or call an emergency evacuation.

Electricity during the Trek:
There is not enough electricity in Nepal. You could expect power cut in some certain time of the day. While you are on the mountain, you will require electricity to charge your battery, mobile, camera or etc. generally, they will ask you to pay extra money for charging. Most of the guest house they use solar power electricity and due to bad weather, not enough power to charge your things, we suggest bringing battery power bank and headlight

Drinking water in Mountain
There is bottle water available along the normal trekking trail. Besides that, you can take your own water filter or can buy a medicine to purify the normal water. Further, you can buy boil water as well as in trekking. We suggest keeping clean environment best way to use boiled water and medicine to purify the normal water

Telephone and the internet during the Trek:
Most of the village has Wi-Fi, internet facilities. However, you can buy a local telephone SIM card (NCL or NAMASTE) which will help you to buy the internet and use with your Smartphone set. You can use for calling to anyone if it requires at the same time.

Transportations while traveling in Nepal
There require or to use a local transport or you may want to use them as well as. The local people or local club will force to use their transport facilities. The price will be negotiable and a vehicle could be old and with very basic services.

Emergency evacuation:
You might have to be rescued due to some accident or serious ill. We can send rescue Helicopter service immediately to bring you back Kathmandu hospital. The helicopter services are expensive in Nepal. We recommend you to buy insurance which covers search and rescue in need. After you rescued, Nepal Unique Treks can help you for documentation to claim the payment.
