Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport 1345m.
Our representative will receive you at the Kathmandu airport and bring you to the hotel. Take some rest at the hotel and then our guide will brief you about the trip. They will provide you short information about the tour and preparation for tomorrow’s sightseeing. After a briefing, you can visit the local areas and buy some personal packing for your overall trip else take rest at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel, Included: Dinner and accommodation
Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and trek preparation
After breakfast, we host a pre-trip meeting at the same hotel and introduce you to our professional city tour guide for your further trip. He will brief you about your overall Kathmandu valley sight seen. You get an opportunity to ask your questions about Nepali heritage, culture, religion and Nepali lifestyle. Clear your confusion without any hesitation. And also be sure that you have your document fulfilled. Then, after a briefing, our tour guide will lead you to your today’s trip places according to the schedule. Here we visit one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world- Boudhanath Stupa, the famous Hindu temple is located on the bank of the holy Bagmati river- Pashupatinath Temple and the temple known as “monkey temple”- Swayambhunath. After main entrance at Pashupatinath, you can see the Hindu holy men (sadhu) who are particularly famous for this area. In Swayambhunath we can observe Buddhist monks praying in the monasteries surrounding there. We will also visit another most attractive religious place of our country. Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2695 m, trek to Phakding 2610 m
Early in the morning, Your trek Guide will come to your Hotel then our private vehicle will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight to Lukla. You will fly for 30 minutes with the view of beautiful Himalayas. After landing Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, our guide will introduce you our porters before the trek to Phakding. Here begins the adventure of trekking. Today you will walk only about 3/4 hours to Phakding. To reach Phakding, we have to descend towards the Dudh Koshi River which leads to the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka. It’s easy to walk after passing through the small Sherpa village of Ghat. Overnight at Guest house in Phakding. Day04- Trek to Namche Bazaar 3480 m 5 hours.
Today we walk along the bank of Dudh Koshi River, during the day across many exciting suspension bridges to reach Namche Bazaar. On the way to Namche Bazaar, the trail passes through the Sagarmatha National Park which wildly changes the steeply breathtaking view. As Namche Bazaar is considered as the main gateway to Everest Base Camp and summits, it has developed into the town with all the luxurious guest house, Hotels and urban facilities like restaurants, money exchange services, internet cafe and fresh bakeries, Local and top branded trekking gear. Day 05: Namche Bazaar Rest Day, Acclimatization day.
Today you will stay in Namche Bazaar. It’s the place from where we can see the first view of Everest. From here you can see incredible views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu Himalayas. Hike up to Everest view point hotel and visit Sherpa land beautiful Khumjung village and exploration of local places and experience their culture. Take overnight rest at Guesthouse in Namche Bazaar. Day 06 Trek to Dole (4130 meters) 5 hours.
Early in the morning trek up to Mochermo. You can get clear views of snowy peaks, mountains, and vegetations. You can observe their living style and culture. People over here irrigate the crops for their needs and earn their income. Farming and lodge are the main occupations of Dole people. It takes 5 hours to reach Dole from Namche Bazaar. Take overnight rest at Guest house in Dole. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house
Day 07 Trek to Mochermo 4470 m 4/5 hrs.
Start your day with beautiful sunshine; you will be headed for Mochermo which is the way to Gokyo. On the way to Gokyo, you can get an excellent view of the valleys. It takes about 5 hours to reach Mochermo from Dole. We have to climb the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpz glacier. Ngozumpa Glacier is one of the major places of attraction because of its appearance in the world’s second-largest glaciers in Khumbu valley. Stay overnight at a fine Guest house in Mochermo. Day 08: Trek to Gokyo 4770 m 4 hours.
Your next-door way to the wonderful Gokyo Lake begins here. At morning, you will be starting trek towards Gokyo. Gokyo Lake is our main destination to be reached. You have to trek via Ngozumpa Glacier where the trail selects its zigzagged path. You can take the close views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Kusum Khagaru, Mt. Kongde and so many on the way to Gokyo. Gokyo village is situated on the northern shore of Dudh Pokhari which looks wonderful although it is far from the urban city but it doesn’t lack any facilities for its customer. This village is the main attraction of the trek. Gokyo valley trekking is an alternative route to traditional trails to the Everest Base Camp. Tonight stay at the Guest house in Gokyo. Day 09: Hike up to Gokyo Ri 5360 m 3/4 hrs
Today is the day for acclimatization in Gokyo. But if you are interested then you can go for hiking up to Gokyo Ri early in the morning to see the amazing views of Gokyo Lake. Gokyo Ri is an outstanding viewpoint in Everest Region. You have to hike up 4 hours to reach Gokyo Ri. Get the memorable views and descend back to Gokyo Lake. If your health condition good you have a chance to visit fifth lake and glacier. Overnight at Guest House in Gokyo. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house
Day 10: Trek back to Dole 4130 m
2 nights stay at Gokyo Village, today we trek back to Dole. Our adventure to Gokyo valley ends here. The trail passes across the Ngozumpa Glacier through Dudh Koshi River. On the way to Dole, you can get beautiful and close views of Mt: Cho-Oyu, Thamserku, Kangtega and many other peaks. We trek down to Machhermo where the trail becomes easy to walk. Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3480 m
After 6 hours downhill trekking we reach to the beautiful Sherpa village Namche Bazaar. Sherpa is one of the major castes of Everest region and worldwide famous as mountain people, Mountain climber, Everest climber. You are warmly welcomed in the fine Guest house in Namche Bazaar for your night stay. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house
Day 12: Trek to Lukla 2795 m 6 hours
Today you will leave Namche Bazaar and trek towards Lukla. You will move your steps being touched with a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and passing the rhododendron forest, Snowhill Mountains and peaks and the pine forest. You can see the Sherpa people’s lifestyle and their cultures, Gompas, and Buddhist monasteries over here. This is the ending place of your trekking in Lukla. You will stay here for one night. You will enjoy with your trekking staff drinking together if they have a chance this evening your guide porter will make unforgettable moment and evening with cultural dance and singing, you can get beautiful natural views on the way to Lukla where you enjoy your 6 hours trekking being touched with nature. Day 13: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
Today is your last day of your trekking ends here. At morning, you will be led to the Tenzing-Hillary Airport Lukla for your departure and flight to Kathmandu. It will take only 30 minutes to arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu from Lukla. During the flight, you can enjoy the incredible views of Khumbu Himalayas, Langtang Himalayas, Gourisankar Himalayas, beautiful valley, rivers and even the dense forests. After arriving airport, our private vehicle will pick up you from the Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu. Stay at the star ranged hotel in Kathmandu. Including: Breakfast, accommodation
Day 14: Leisure day in Kathmandu
Today is the rest day in Kathmandu. You can go for the shopping and nearby visit Thamel. Get an easy time to visit the local markets. Depends on your interest, you can go for the sightseeing around Kathmandu. If you have time let us know we will design another short tip to use your extra days, Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day15- Departure to international Airport Kathmandu
Today is the last day of your holiday in Nepal. Our private vehicle will come to pick you at the Hotel and you will be transferred to the International Airport for your final departure.

Useful information while Gokyo Chola Pass Trek
Our Guide and Porters:
Our guides and Sherpa have responsible and long experience in trekking field. Guide speaks English and keeps knowledge about the mountain, mountain sickness, people, and culture. Generally, he will have a right to choose a guest house to stop overnight and right to take a necessary decision if the weather is not favorable if you are physically not in good condition or if there any potential danger of life or etc.
Nepal Unique Treks will provide a porter (helper to carry the luggage) with warm clothing while going to the high mountain. We give priority to the local porter as much as possible.
Guest House during the Trek:
There are nice and clean guest houses in the village on the way to trekking, also known as a tea house. We will accommodate to our trekkers in that guest houses. You will have your own room (twin sharing) and a bathroom is outside. They are safe and people are friendly.
Meal during the Trek:
The general understanding in the mountain, you buy food from the same guest house where you say. We will buy a freshly cooked food from the local guest house. They will have a standard menu which is set by the Local Lodge Management Committee. You can choose your meal from the menu. food is clean and delicious but not well decorated like a city
Medical facilities during the Trek:
There are rare medical facilities in the mountain. We generally recommend to you bringing own medicine if you having regular medicine otherwise we provide our guide and Sherpa will carry first aid Kidd for all team like (a headache, stomach ache, painkiller, Diamox, bandage, iodine, cotton, gauze, Hansa Plast, common cold, diarrhea, ) to the normal situation. If it is serious, you should go down or call an emergency evacuation.
Electricity during the Trek:
There is not enough electricity in Nepal. You could expect power cut in some certain time of the day. While you are on the mountain, you will require electricity to charge your battery, mobile, camera or etc. generally, they will ask you to pay extra money for charging. Most of the guest house they use solar power electricity and due to bad weather, not enough power to charge your things, we suggest bringing battery power bank and headlight
Drinking water in Mountain
There is bottle water available along the normal trekking trail. Besides that, you can take your own water filter or can buy a medicine to purify the normal water. Further, you can buy boil water as well as in trekking. We suggest keeping clean environment best way to use boiled water and medicine to purify the normal water
Telephone and the internet during the Trek:
Most of the village has Wi-Fi, internet facilities. However, you can buy a local telephone SIM card (NCL or NAMASTE) which will help you to buy the internet and use with your Smartphone set. You can use for calling to anyone if it requires at the same time.
Transportation while traveling in Nepal
There require or to use a local transport or you may want to use them as well as. The local people or local club will force to use their transport facilities. The price will be negotiable and a vehicle could be old and with very basic services.
You might have to be rescued due to some accident or serious ill. We can send rescue Helicopter service immediately to bring you back Kathmandu hospital. The helicopter services are expensive in Nepal. We recommend you to buy insurance which covers search and rescue in need. After you rescued, Nepal Unique Treks can help you for documentation to claim the payment.
