The walking in the trail starts from Lukla after the trekkers have been landed in the most extreme airport in the world the Tenzing-Hillary Airport. Relatively easy trekking trail during your first 2 days of the trekking upon reaching the Namche Bazaar passing by Phakding the acclimatization activities takes place. The short hiking to Everest View Hotel for the panoramic views of mountains or surrounding landscapes or the visit of Khumjung village can be done. The Namche Bazaar which is considered as the Sherpa Capital of the Khumbu region also showcases the unique Sherpa Lifestyle and it is the best place to get acclimatized before facing the daunting thin air up in high altitudes. From Namche, the trekking voyage will head towards the Gorakshep passing by Tengboche and Dingboche.

From Gorakshep, the trekking moves towards the Everest Base Camp to witness the world’s tallest mountain from its foothill. The early morning hike to the Kalapathar to view the Himalayan mountain sunrise is the best highlight or any Everest region trekking. From here onward the daunting trail waits for you and it is highly recommended to be with the experienced guide of Nepal Unique Treks throughout the journey. The trail of the Chola Pass is covered with the snow and sometimes trail can be missing. After crossing the Chola Pass the trip to Gokyo Lake takes place. The amazing scenery of the magnificent lakes reminds you of the fairyland of a fairytale. The lodging in the hotel or lodge at the bank of the Gokyo Lake would be picturesque and mesmerizing. The hike to the Gokyo Ri provides the outstanding 360-degree views of mountains. The views of the Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Everest, Cho you and range of unlimited mountains can be savored from the Gokyo Ri. Then the trek reroutes back to Lukla for the flight to Kathmandu. Finally, Gokyo Chola Pass Trek ends in Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters).
Our representative will receive you at the Kathmandu airport and bring you to the hotel. Take some rest at the hotel and then our guide will brief you about the trip. They will provide you short information about the tour and preparation for tomorrow’s sightseeing. After a briefing, you can visit the local areas and buy some personal packing for your overall trip else take rest at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel, Included: Dinner and accommodation

Day 02: Pre-trip Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.
After breakfast, we host a pre-trip meeting at the same hotel and introduce you to our professional city tour guide for your further trip. He will brief you about your overall Kathmandu valley sight seen. You get an opportunity to ask your questions about Nepali heritage, culture, religion and Nepali lifestyle. Clear your confusion without any hesitation. And also be sure that you have your document fulfilled. Then, after a briefing, our tour guide will lead you to your today’s trip places according to the schedule. Here we visit one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world- Boudhanath Stupa, the famous Hindu temple is located on the bank of the holy Bagmati river- Pashupatinath Temple and the temple known as “monkey temple”- Swayambhunath. After main entrance at Pashupatinath, you can see the Hindu holy men (sadhu) who are particularly famous for this area. In Swayambhunath we can observe Buddhist monks praying in the monasteries surrounding there. We will also visit another most attractive religious place of our country. At earlier evening back to your hotel and manage your trekking gears. Overnight stay at the hotel. Included: Dinner and accommodation

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2695 meters, trek to Phakding (2610 meters)
Early in the morning, Your Trek Guide will come to your Hotel then our private vehicle will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight to Lukla. You will fly for 30 minutes with the view of beautiful Himalayas. After landing Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, our guide will introduce you our porters before the trek to Phakding. Here begins the adventure of trekking. Today you will walk only about 3/4 hours to Phakding. To reach Phakding, we have to descend towards the Dudh Koshi River which leads to the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka. It’s easy to walk after passing through the small sherpa village of Ghat. Overnight at Guest house in Phakding. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house

Day04- Trek to Namche Bazaar (3480 meters) 5 hours.
Today we walk along the bank of Dudh Koshi River, during the day across many exciting suspension bridges to reach Namche Bazaar. On the way to Namche Bazaar, the trail passes through the Sagarmatha National Park which wildly changes the steeply breathtaking view. As Namche Bazaar is considered as the main gateway to Everest Base Camp and summits, it has developed into the town with all the luxurious guest house, Hotels and urban facilities like restaurants, money exchange services, internet cafe and fresh bakeries, Local and top branded trekking gear. You need to walk 5/6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar. Tonight stay at the Guesthouse in Namche Bazaar. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house

Day 05: Namche Bazaar Rest Day, Acclimatization day.
Today you will stay in Namche Bazaar. It’s the place from where we can see the first view of Everest. From here you can see incredible views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu Himalayas. Hike up to Everest view point hotel and visit Sherpa land beautiful Khumjung village and exploration of local places and experience their culture. Take overnight rest at Guesthouse in Namche Bazaar. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house

Day 06 Trek to Dole (4130 meters) 5 hours.
Early in the morning trek up to Mochermo. You can get clear views of snowy peaks, mountains, and vegetations. You can observe their living style and culture. People over here irrigate the crops for their needs and earn their income. Farming and lodge are the main occupations of Dole people. It takes 5 hours to reach Dole from Namche Bazaar. Take overnight rest at Guest house in Dole. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house

Day 07 Trek to Mochermo (4470 meters) 4/5 hrs.
Start your day with beautiful sunshine; you will be headed for Mochermo which is the way to Gokyo. On the way to Gokyo, you can get an excellent view of the valleys. It takes about 5 hours to reach Mochermo from Dole. We have to climb the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpz glacier. Ngozumpa Glacier is one of the major places of attraction because of its appearance in the world’s second-largest glaciers in Khumbu valley. Stay overnight at a fine Guest house in Mochermo. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house

Day 08: Trek to Gokyo (4770 meters) 4 hours.
Your next-door way to the wonderful Gokyo Lake begins here. At morning, you will be starting trek towards Gokyo. Gokyo Lake is our main destination to be reached. You have to trek via Ngozumpa Glacier where the trail selects its zigzagged path. You can take the close views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Kusum Khagaru, Mt. Kongde and so many on the way to Gokyo. Gokyo village is situated on the northern shore of Dudh Pokhari which looks wonderful although it is far from the urban city but it doesn’t lack any facilities for its customer. This village is the main attraction of the trek. Gokyo valley trekking is an alternative route to traditional trails to the Everest Base Camp. Tonight stay at the Guest house in Gokyo. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house

Day 09: Rest Day and Acclimatization day

Day 10: Gokyo- Thangna Trek- 4/5hrs (4950m.)
Today we trek to Thangna from Gokyo Valley. The trek continues through glacier and snow fields with superb views of mountains and peaks. You can have life memorable trek throughout the day with some challenges too. We stay overnight in Thanga after exploring the surrounding area in the evening. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard Teahouse

Day 11: Thangna - Chola Pass- Dzongla Trek- 7hrs. (4830m)
start your trek early in the morning 4\5 am, climbs up to Chola Pass and descends to Dzongla. The ascending trail leads to Chola Pass (5545m.) from where the views of magnificent mountains including Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Cho Oyo, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse (7879m.), Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cholaste, Mt. Tawache, Mt. Gyachung Kang and many other are very impressive. You can explore the surrounding area of Dzongla in the evening where we stay overnight. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard Teahouse

Day 12: Dzongla- Lobuche -4 hrs 4900m
after breakfast, we begin climbing from Dzongla and continue to Khumbu Glacier. The astonishing views of Mt Ammadablam, Mt.Tawache, Mt.Cholaste Lobuche peak, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse are eyes stacking. You can feel the high altitude because of extreme cold in Lobuche Village. Early in the afternoon visit to the Khumbu glacier and around there climb up higher then Lobuche village back to your guest house Overnight stay at Lobuche.Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard Teahouse
Day 13: Gorakshep- Everest Base Camp- Gorakshep Trekking- 7/8 hrs. (5364m.)
After beautiful sunshine, we trek to Lobuche 5180, 3 hrs. cheek in your guest house and have some healthy and warm lunch, you will have meeting with your guide please tell to your guide about your health condition, most of the people feel altitude sickness with a slidelly headache, your shelf already know about the mountain sickness also your guide and leader told you already, if you mention about your health condition with your guide they will take care of you and they will tell you to go continue Everest base camp or no, from Gorakshep with the astonishing views of mountains and peaks. Everest Base Camp is the point for the mountaineers to summit the peak. The experience of being at the foothill of world’s highest mountain cannot be expressed in words. We trek descend to Gorakshep in the afternoon and overnight stay there.

Day 14: Gorakshep to Kalapather (5550m) Pheriche VillageTrekking 5/6 hrs.
Early in the morning 4/5 am we trek to (Everest view point) the small mountain of Kalapatthar. Extremely large views of mountains and glaciers around you give a sense of heaven including a close-up view of Mt. Everest, Mt.Amadablam, and Mt.Pumori. After breakfast we continue trekking to a small settlement of Pheriche via Lobuche village, you can explore the village of Pheriche where stay overnight.

Day 15: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar Trekking- 6/7hrs. (3440m.)
Retrieving journey to Namche Bazaar is pleasantly through valleys and pasturelands. We pass through Tengboche and continue through enjoying the picturesque view of Monjo valley. The distance of mountains makes you feel watching for all the time. We reach Namche bazaar and stay overnight in a Lodge. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard Guesthouse

Day 16: Namche to Phakding-Lukla-7 hrs. (2800m.)
Today your trekking trail follows a sandy path with a strenuous walk. The trail is full of picturesque view of the landscape and some mountain scenarios. You can explore Lukla Bazaar and shop local items there. You can celebrate your successful trekking there in Lukla with special brands of drinks. Evening time offers you to visit surrounding area before we stay overnight in Lukla. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard Guest house

Day 17: Lukla to Kathmandu
Today, you will fly to Kathmandu in the morning. This short and scenic flight possibly makes you feel regretful because of the glimpses of snowy mountains through the private window of the plane. You will be transferred to hotel by our privet car/ jeep, where you either have leisure time or you may catch the last moments exploring the sights of Kathmandu. Shopping in the market is another best option. In the evening, we have a celebration dinner together. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard Guest house

Day 18: Departure Day
today is your last day, we have to bid goodbye to the company as a visit in Nepal comes to the end for this time. If you have time enough, you can have sightseeing and purchase the token of love from Nepal. Before 3 hours of scheduled flight, our representatives will take you to the Tribhuvan international airport. We hope you will be planning for another adventure trip while you are on returning back to your homeland. You can extend your Nepal stay if you have time and desire too.

Useful information while Gokyo Chola Pass Trek
Our Guide and Porters:
Our guides and Sherpa have responsible and long experience in trekking field. Guide speaks English and keeps knowledge about the mountain, mountain sickness, people, and culture. Generally, he will have a right to choose a guest house to stop overnight and right to take a necessary decision if the weather is not favorable if you are physically not in good condition or if there any potential danger of life or etc.
Nepal Unique Treks will provide a porter (helper to carry the luggage) with warm clothing while going to the high mountain. We give priority to the local porter as much as possible.

Guest House during the Trek:
There are nice and clean guest houses in the village on the way to trekking, also known as a tea house. We will accommodate to our trekkers in that guest houses. You will have your own room (twin sharing) and a bathroom is outside. They are safe and people are friendly.

Meal during the Trek:
The general understanding in the mountain, you buy food from the same guest house where you say. We will buy a freshly cooked food from the local guest house. They will have a standard menu which is set by the Local Lodge Management Committee. You can choose your meal from the menu. food is clean and delicious but not well decorated like a city

Medical facilities during the Trek:
There are rare medical facilities in the mountain. We generally recommend to you bringing own medicine if you having regular medicine otherwise we provide our guide and Sherpa will carry first aid Kidd for all team like (a headache, stomach ache, painkiller, Diamox, bandage, iodine, cotton, gauze, Hansa Plast, common cold, diarrhea, ) to the normal situation. If it is serious, you should go down or call an emergency evacuation.

Electricity during the Trek:
There is not enough electricity in Nepal. You could expect power cut in some certain time of the day. While you are on the mountain, you will require electricity to charge your battery, mobile, camera or etc. generally, they will ask you to pay extra money for charging. Most of the guest house they use solar power electricity and due to bad weather, not enough power to charge your things, we suggest bringing battery power bank and headlight

Drinking water in Mountain
There is bottle water available along the normal trekking trail. Besides that, you can take your own water filter or can buy a medicine to purify the normal water. Further, you can buy boil water as well as in trekking. We suggest to keep clean environment best way to use boiled water and medicine to purify the normal water

Telephone and the internet during the Trek:
Most of the village has Wi-Fi, internet facilities. However, you can buy a local telephone SIM card (NCL or NAMASTE) which will help you to buy the internet and use with your Smartphone set. You can use for calling to anyone if it requires at the same time.

Transportations while traveling in Nepal
There require or to use a local transport or you may want to use them as well as. The local people or local club will force to use their transport facilities. The price will be negotiable and a vehicle could be old and with very basic services.

Emergency evacuation:
You might have to be rescued due to some accident or serious ill. We can send rescue Helicopter service immediately to bring you back Kathmandu hospital. The helicopter services are expensive in Nepal. We recommend you to buy insurance which covers search and rescue in need. After you rescued, Nepal Unique Treks can help you for documentation to claim the payment.
