Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters).
Our representative will receive you at the Kathmandu airport and bring you to the hotel. Take some rest at the hotel and then our guide will brief you about the trip. They will provide you short information about the tour and preparation for tomorrow’s sightseeing. After a briefing, you can visit the local areas and buy some personal packing for your overall trip else take rest at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel, Included: Dinner and accommodation
Day 02: Pre-trip Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.
After breakfast, we host a pre-trip meeting at the same hotel and introduce you to our professional city tour guide for your further trip. He will brief you about your overall Kathmandu valley sight seen. You get an opportunity to ask your questions about Nepali heritage, culture, religion and Nepali lifestyle. Clear your confusion without any hesitation. And also be sure that you have your document fulfilled. Then, after a briefing, our tour guide will lead you to your today’s trip places according to the schedule. Here we visit one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world- Boudhanath Stupa, the famous Hindu temple is located on the bank of the holy Bagmati river- Pashupatinath Temple and the temple known as “monkey temple”- Swayambhunath. After main entrance at Pashupatinath, you can see the Hindu holy men (sadhu) who are particularly famous for this area. In Swayambhunath we can observe Buddhist monks praying in the monasteries surrounding there. We will also visit another most attractive religious place of our country. Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2695 meters, trek to Phakding (2610 meters)
Early in the morning, Your Trek Guide will come to your Hotel then our private vehicle will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight to Lukla. You will fly for 30 minutes with the view of beautiful Himalayas. After landing Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, our guide will introduce you our porters before the trek to Phakding. Here begins the adventure of trekking. Today you will walk only about 3/4 hours to Phakding. To reach Phakding, we have to descend towards the Dudh Koshi River which leads to the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka. It’s easy to walk after passing through the small sherpa village of Ghat. Overnight at Guest house in Phakding. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house
Day04- Trek to Namche Bazaar (3480 meters) 5 hours.
Today we walk along the bank of Dudh Koshi River, during the day across many exciting suspension bridges to reach Namche Bazaar. On the way to Namche Bazaar, the trail passes through the Sagarmatha National Park which wildly changes the steeply breathtaking view. As Namche Bazaar is considered as the main gateway to Everest Base Camp and summits, it has developed into the town with all the luxurious guest house, Hotels and urban facilities like restaurants, money exchange services, internet cafe and fresh bakeries, Local and top branded trekking gear. You need to walk 5/6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar. Tonight stay at the Guesthouse in Namche Bazaar. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guest house
Day 05: Namche Bazaar Rest Day, Acclimatization day.
Today you will stay in Namche Bazaar. It’s the place from where we can see the first view of Everest. From here you can see incredible views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu Himalayas. Hike up to Everest view point hotel and visit Sherpa land beautiful Khumjung village and exploration of local places and experience their culture. Take overnight rest at Guesthouse in Namche Bazaar. Including: Breakfast, Lunch Dinner, tea, coffee and accommodation on standard guesthouse
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m/12,664ft): 5 - 6 hrs
The dawn calls for a yummy breakfast and you start your trek towards Tengboche enjoying beautiful views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam and close up view of Thamserku. Your trek follows the gradually trail with a few ups and downs overlooking glorious view of the great Himalaya. Along the way, you can spot wild lives like pheasant, musk deer or a herd of Himalayan Thar. The trail goes gradually down up to Kayangjuma Village. The path eventually reaches Sansa which is the major trail junction to Gokyo valley and Everest Base Camp. The track will then penetrate you through the pine forests and crossing the prayer flags festooned bridge over Dudh Koshi River, we reach Phunki Thenga, a small settlement with a couple of teahouses and a small army post amidst the alpine woods. A tongue-twisting lunch at Phunki Thenga will be your fuel for the tough little climb steep up through the pine forests before approaching Tengboche. Tengboche is a great place for close up views of Ama-Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest and it has a biggest Buddhist Monastery all over in Khumbu Region. Late afternoon, we can visit the monastery and pray for success. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Tengboche. Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea, coffee and standard accommodation.
Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m/14,300 ft): 6 hrs
With mountains at its backdrop, the monastery at Tengboche looks more magnificent in the morning. At this moment, you can take pictures of the monastery with a beautiful Himalayan range of Mt. Kwangde and the scenery around and start your journey as usual. You choose the upper trail for better views on the way to Pangboche. You pass through several Buddhist Chortens and Mani walls and small villages. The place where you stop for lunch not only serves delicious food but also allows an unbelievable close-up view of Mt Ama Dablam. In the afternoon, you walk north to Pheriche or take the Eastward trail beneath the towering North face of Mt Ama Dablam. From here onwards, the walk is fairly moderate as you enter the Imja Valley. The valley gradually unfolds as you approach the confluence of the Lobuche River. You descend into the river and begin the last and steepest climb of the day up to Dingboche Village. On arrival at Dingboche, you will see a beautiful array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley, buckwheat, and potatoes from the cold winds and grazing animals. Relax your painful body inside the warm blanket with the melody of Dingboche. Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea, coffee and standard accommodation.
Day 08: Acclimatization day around Dingboche
Morning hike to Chukung valley and excursion to Chukung RI (5445 m) for outstanding View of massif Makalu, Everest, and their surrounding landscapes. After lunch in Chukung back to Dingboche for an overnight stay. It takes around 7/8 hours round trip. Or your tour guide wills advice you depend on your health condition
Day 09: Dingboche to Chhukung 4750m/15,580 ft, climb Chhukung Ri 5,546m 6 – 7 hours
Today our trekking trail passes through stone-walled and Imja river valley before entering glacier moraines amidst high Hills. The trekking trail continues to Bibre which is a yak herdsman place from here, straight across the valley is the fantastic Mt. Ama Dablam and the Mt. Amphu Lapcha and other. The trail continues intersected by icy stream valley Chukkung Village, after lunch, we trek towards Chhukung Ri or have rest in hotel walk around there, The climb to Chhukung Ri involves some easy scrambling near the summit. From the top, we can look directly across the valley from the top of Chukkung Ri, for an unbelievable view of Mt. Ama Dablam and Mt. Amphu Labcha and others. We hike back to Chhukung to spend the night. Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea, coffee and standard accommodation.
Day 10: Kongma La pass 5535m/18,159ft, Lobuche 4940m/16,210ft, and 6 - 7 hours
Today we will trek around 10 km, before come brightness in your window shake your blanket and take your rucksack start your trek with a headlamp, gradually hike up with your trekking team reach the highest part of the entire trip which is Kongma La pass. We can either take a trail over a hill which is to the northwest of Chhukung over the Mt. Nuptse Glacier moraines or treks on the trail above the Niyang Khola. When you get on the top of Kongmala you will see around there marked by cairns and Buddhist prayer flags. The final trek down from the pass is the hardest part of today’s trip. After hiking the moraine on the far side, Trek through Khumbu Glacier which takes us to Lobuche. Overnight at Lobuche. Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea, coffee and standard accommodation.
Please look a Note: Trekking through Kongma La Pass is optional trip. If we do not want to trek the strenuous Kongma La pass today and want to go directly to Lobuche from Chhukung, we can do that too.
Day 11: Lobuche to Gorakshep 5170 m/16,961ft- visit Everest Base Camp 5364 m/17,594 ft 13km, 6-7 hours
After breakfast, our trail moves along on the side moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Trek continue Ahead on the trail we see the summit of the north ridge of Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mt. Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse and more mountains. A small climb takes us to Thangma Riju. From here we have a high regard for panoramic views of the Himalayan view. We climb on a steep trail up to the top of Changri Glacier. Then we reach Gorakshep, After resting while and having lunch in guesthouse then we continue to Everest Base Camp. We pass through rocky hills, moraines, and streams before reaching the Everest base camp. From here we admire Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Khumbuste and Mt. Pumori mountains. We trek back to Gorak shep and spend the night. Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea, coffee and standard accommodation.
Day 12: Gorakshep to Kalapatthar 5545 m/18,192 ft, Trek to Dzongla (4830m/15,850 ft) 5/6 hrs
We start our hike up to Kala Patthar early in the morning 4/5 am order to catch extraordinary views of the sunrise of the Mt. Everest. However, we need to be organized for a trek in the dark and cold temperature, the temperature according to the season. Also, there is always a chance for chilly winds which are quite common. Familiar peaks such as Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Changtse, Mt. Everest and Mt. Nuptse tower above us. We will be on the top of Kala Patthar. The close-up view of Mt. Everest and other Himalayan peaks from Kalapathar is incredible. We enjoy the eye-catching Himalayan vista and descend to Gorakshep then we will have breakfast trek decent Dzongla via Lobuche,
From Gorakshep, we trek downhill on a trail alongside the Khumbu Glacier. Our trail splits into two and we choose the trail on our right. On the way, we can better admire the view of the looming Awe Peak. We pass through a Lobuche Village and tombstones in the distance. After walking for a while we begin to ascend. During the ascent, we see Chola Tsho Lake nearby. We continue further and pass another lake which is a lot smaller than the Chola Tsho Lake. We cross the Chola Khola on a bridge before reaching Dzongla. Overnight in Dzongla. Included meals: Breakfast Lunch Dinner Tea, coffee, and standard accommodation.
Day 13: Trek to Gokyo, 4800m/15,580 ft, via Cho La pass, 5368m/17,611 ft, 7 - 8 hours
Early in the morning start your trek in dark with headlamp, several hours climb up to the cliff trough rocky hill, sleepers trail and sharp ice wall before to get top of Chola pass, there is lot of prayer flag marked by trekkers, outstanding view of vista Himalaya from the top, celebration with your team for successful climbing, gradually trek continue toward
Day 15: Rest day in Gokyo: Climb Gokyo Ri 5357m/17,575 ft,
Today we climb Gokyo Ri and enjoy with incredible mountain vista. Today we can also tour the fourth Gokyo Lake which is only 3km north of the Gokyo Lake. Next, continue trekking to the 5th lake. The view from ‘scoundrel point of view’, located at the edge of the 5th lake, is astonishing. Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makulu mountains and the huge Ngozumba Glacier are ours to admire. We trek back to Gokyo and spend the night.

Day 16: Gokyo to Marlung 4210m/13,810 ft via Renjo La Pass 5360m/17585 ft 7 - 8 hours
We start your trek early in the morning to complete the long trekking 7/8 hrs (depend on your walking speed) ahead. Our trail moves alongside Dudh Pokhari (lake) for a while. We walk for around two hours 2 and half hours to get the Renjo La pass. On the way, we are pleased with extravagant views of the Himalayan and Rolwaling ranges and more. Views from the Renjo La pass are much like that from Gokyo Ri with the third Gokyo Lake and Gokyo Village beneath the gray smear of the Ngozumpa Glacier. We also get wonderful views of Mt. Everest from the top of the Renjo La Pass. Our trail winds down a stone staircase and then moves over a loose screed to reach the south bank of Angladumba Tsho Lake. The prescience of ice on the trail while down can make our descent a bit hazardous. Along the way, we see Relama Tsho and Renjo Lake. We walk down a narrow valley clogged with giant boulders to Lumde where there is a support lodge, but it is often closed. We walk almost for an hour from Lumde to get to Marlung on the east bank of the Bhote Koshi River. Overnight at Marlung.

Day 17: Marlung to Namche Bazaar3440m, 15km, 5 - 6 hours
The descent trails with beautiful sunshine from Marulung to Thame follows a fixed route used for centuries by the Tibetan traders. We cross the Bhote Koshi River and descend to Taranga. The trail continues to descend and we cross two bridges before reaching Thame. Overlooking Thame is its famous Gompa situated on a hill to the west. From here, we descend gradually on a trail that passes through a few small villages before reaching Namche Bazaar which is probably the biggest town in the Everest region. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 18: Namche Bazaar-Lukla (2,840m/9,317ft): 6 - 8 hrs
Early in the morning will slowly pinch your ears and knock your head to wake up for the trip. Though it will be not easy to wrap up the warm blanket, we must say goodbye to Namche today. Extend your body for a moment and fill your stomach with warm and mouth-watering breakfast to petrol down the trail descends gently downward. You need to walk slowly and under control as your shaky legs constantly battle the rocky terrain. Journey to the suspension bridges over the fast flowing "Dudh Koshi River" and its tributaries, the trail becomes more leveled and natural. By today you will start to get warm up by the light wind. Any outstanding sore throats and colds will slowly vanish from today as you pass through this delightful mountain air.
While you are traveling the same route downhill, you feel finally different. You just snap a mixture of open plains, rhododendron and pine forests and in the space snow covered peaks. You will be exposed through the Sherpa villages noticing inspiring faith in Buddhism and culture of prayer stones and prayer flags while you walk through the Sherpa villages. Upon arrival at Lukla village, stretch those sore legs and recall the experience of the last couple of weeks. Your familiarity the conclusion of a fantastic trek on a happy note with everyone back safe and sound with a smile on their faces! Lots of memories wriggle around your mind and heart. You will feel that you have touched the feet of the Highest Mountain Peak of the world, Mount Everest and it is leaning down to grace you for your happy and prosperous life. Slowly your eyebrows get heavy due to tiredness and you will be lost in the lap of Lukla village waiting the day to say goodbye Lukla village. Day 19: Lukla - Kathmandu
The bright morning slowly moved your blanket to wake you up. Your both eyes will be open but you don't desire to leave the bed because the memory of your journey still pulls you towards Kalapatthar. So you have to pack your baggage and rush towards the airport to catch the engine sky bird for flying back to Kathmandu from where you start your journey of Everest Base Camp Trek. The Dornier drops you following the morning clouds in Trivubhan International Airport of Kathmandu. Our representative from Nepal Unique Treks will be waiting for you to welcome you with your smiling and cheerful faces. They will pick up you and drop to your hotel. After that, you can rest and relax throughout the day at the hotel.
If you get interested in taking some gifts home from Nepal for friends and relatives, you can visit some nearby shops for typical Nepalese goods. This short excursion either can be assisted by Nepal Unique guides or you can perform it yourselves too. If you want to explore any other areas in Kathmandu valley, you have to manage time for today as well! In the evening, you will be at a fantastic festivity dinner together with typical Nepali sets (Thali) and cultural program. Useful information while Everest Base Camp Trek
Our Guide and Porters:
Our guides and Sherpa have responsible and long experience in trekking field. Guide speaks English and keeps knowledge about the mountain, mountain sickness, people, and culture. Generally, he will have a right to choose a guest house to stop overnight and right to take a necessary decision if the weather is not favorable if you are physically not in good condition or if there any potential danger of life or etc.
Nepal Unique Treks will provide a porter (helper to carry the luggage) with warm clothing while going to the high mountain. We give priority to the local porter as much as possible.
Guest House during the Trek:
There are nice and clean guest houses in the village on the way to trekking, also known as a tea house. We will accommodate to our trekkers in that guest houses. You will have your own room (twin sharing) and a bathroom is outside. They are safe and people are friendly.
Meal during the Trek:
The general understanding in the mountain, you buy food from the same guest house where you say. We will buy a freshly cooked food from the local guest house. They will have a standard menu which is set by the Local Lodge Management Committee. You can choose your meal from the menu. food is clean and delicious but not well decorated like the city
Medical facilities during the Trek:
There are rare medical facilities in the mountain. We generally recommend to you bringing own medicine if you having regular medicine otherwise we provide our guide and Sherpa will carry first aid Kidd for all team like (a headache, stomach ache, painkiller, Diamox, bandage, iodine, cotton, gauze, Hansa Plast, common cold, diarrhea, ) to the normal situation. If it is serious, you should go down or call an emergency evacuation.
Electricity during the Trek:
There is not enough electricity in Nepal. You could expect power cut in some certain time of the day. While you are on the mountain, you will require electricity to charge your battery, mobile, camera or etc. generally, they will ask you to pay extra money for charging. Most of the guest house they use solar power electricity and due to bad weather, not enough power to charge your things, we suggest bringing battery power bank and headlight
Drinking water in Mountain
There is bottle water available along the normal trekking trail. Besides that, you can take your own water filter or can buy a medicine to purify the normal water. Further, you can buy boil water as well as in trekking. We suggest to kip clean environment best way to use boiled water and medicine to purify the normal water
Telephone and the internet during the Trek:
Most of the village has Wi-Fi, internet facilities. However, you can buy a local telephone SIM card (NCL or NAMASTE) which will help you to buy the internet and use with your Smartphone set. You can use for calling to anyone if it requires at the same time.
Transportations while traveling in Nepal
There require or to use a local transport or you may want to use them as well as. The local people or local club will force to use their transport facilities. The price will be negotiable and a vehicle could be old and with very basic services.
You might have to be rescued due to some accident or serious ill. We can send rescue Helicopter service immediately to bring you back Kathmandu hospital. The helicopter services are expensive in Nepal. We recommend you to buy insurance which covers search and rescue in need. After you rescued, Nepal Unique Treks can help you for documentation to claim the payment.
