Annapurna Base Camp Trek starts with the exhilarating bus drive from Pokhara passing by the hills and forests until Nayapool. The walking in the trail is being friended with the Modi River and the chirping birds in the rhododendron pine woods welcome with excitement to all the trekkers. The uphill of the Ulleri is slightly daunting. However, the meeting of the locals, transporting mules, trekkers and porters make your uphill tramping very lively. After capturing the amazing memory of ABC the trek reroutes back to Pokhara passing by the various places like Chhomrung, Tatopani and Jhinu. Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu (1345m): transfer to hotel and overnight at hotel.
You will meet at the airport & greeted by our airport representative who will be on standby to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel. At evening is free and after you’ve refreshed, you can go for a stroll down the street to get familiar with your environment. Window shopping would be a good start to look around in Kathmandu Thamel.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley & an orientation.
After Breakfast, your tour guide will take you for the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley. Your tour will include Kathmandu Durbar Square, (Monkey Temple) Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. The Pashupatinath is a significant place of a visit because this is a heritage site & is the most important religious site for Hindus in Nepal & India. Within the restrictions of this temple are cremation zones where the bodies of Nepalese, right from the pauper on the streets to the king of Nepal are cremated at this old temple. In the early evening, we get back to our hotel & refresh after which your senior trek leader (Guide) will meet the group & orient you on the whole program related to your trip. You will even have sufficient time to buy some trekking gear if you need anythings in Thamel. Tonight stay at a Hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (210 K west of Kathmandu) - 6 Hours.
We drive along the attractive Trisuli and Marsyangdi River to reach Pokhara, it’s an attractive drive as we go by the beautiful river which is also good for rafting; we can see Ganesh Himal and the Manaslu peak as well during the Driving. Pokhara is a touristic glory of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, & temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with her lovely mountains; after 6 hours of driving; we will arrive in Pokhara, the city of lakes Welcome to this gorgeous town of serene lakes that gives so much significance to your holidays. Tonight stay at a Hotel.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1050m.) Trek to Tikhedunga (1577m) - 4 Hours.
After breakfast in your hotel, our day starts our driving to Nayapul which takes around one and half hours. We then start the first part of our Trekking out to Tikhedunga (1577M) Via Birethanti (1065m.) this is a beautiful easy flat out hike as we pass through several small lively villages and settlements. After some time, we will ascend gently to the final purpose of the day. Tonight stay at Guesthouse.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2675m) - 6 Hours.
Today, we climb steeply for the first 2 hours and then climb gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti. This path gives us out of this world views of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), and the grand Annapurna (7219m) south on the way. Our trail now gets quite easy going as we pass through rhododendron and shadowy forests amidst the cackling of birds which gives us good feelings till we go up gently to the final camp. Day 06: Hike to Poonhill (3180m.) and trek to Tadapani (2675m.) - 6 hours.
Today, early in the morning we hike to Poonhill (3230m) to enjoy the sunrise views over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III (7855m), Machhapuchhare (6993m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna II (7937m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) and other many snowcapped mountains in the morning. Poonhill has always been a symbol of beauty for the Annapurna section. We next hike down to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast at our lodge and trek to Tadapani (2650m). Most part of the trail we trek is through blossoming rhododendron forest. The gorgeous flower makes the jungle colorful in spring when they bloom. Tonight stay at a Guesthouse.

Day 07: Trek from Tadapani (2675m) to Chomrong- 5 Hours.
We enjoy our hike by descending gently all the way through rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forests. We hear the chirping of different kinds of birds on the way to Kimrung Khola. We then straightaway ascend steeply and walk at a flat level for 45 minutes with gentle steep paths in-between and flat all the way to Chomrong which the gateway to Annapurna Base Camp. Chomrong is a village that is situated at the base of the Himalchuli. Tonight stay at Guesthouse.

Day 08: Trek from Chhomrong to Himalaya - 7 Hours.
We start our trek after breakfast at the lodge. The trail descends on stone stairs for the first one and half hour and crosses the Chhomrong Village on a suspension bridge, then climbs out of the side valley. Trek above the Modi Khola, the trail passes through forests of bamboo Village, rhododendron, and oak. Hiking further on a rocky path we will reach Sinuwa, at 2350m & then we trek gently through the forest and go down a long, steep stone stairs into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests to reach Bamboo and walk on gently towards Dovan and Himalaya. Tonight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 09: Trek from Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4170m) via Machhapuchare Base Camp (3820m) – 5/6 Hours.
We will trek gently ascend through bamboo forests with varieties of rhododendron and oak trees. It’s real enjoyable hereabouts on our way to the Annapurna Base Camp. The first town you reach is Himalaya Hotel (2900m.). Beyond it, the trail is steeply ascending up to Hinko Cave (3160m.), this is named so because it’s a huge suspended rock which provides some protection against rain and avalanches. It takes around twenty-five minutes through a normally ascending path to reach Deurali (3230m.). Tonight stay at a Guesthouse. Including: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and standard accommodation

Day 10: Trekking from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2630m)
It takes about five hours. It's much easier as we go down. You should have no problem reaching Sinuwa from Annapurna Base Camp in a single day, however; we have chosen this route as some trekkers may have a problem with going down due to shaking or wobble legs that could be tired. Day 11: Trekking from Dovan to Jhinudanda (1750m) - 6 Hours.
The trekking trail is a descent up to Bamboo passing through forests with a variety of rhododendron, oaks and bamboo plants. After Bamboo, the trail goes suddenly up an hour and the trail is quite flat until Sinuwa Village. We trek regularly descending to the Chhumrong Khola and we have to follow a stone staircase for almost an hour to reach Chhumrong. The last part of the trail is steep down to Jhinu danda. We into our rooms at the guest house then we could go to the Hot Springs to take an energizing bath in the warm salt waters. Tonight stay at a Guesthouse.

Day 12: Trek from Jhinudanda to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara- 6 Hours
The first part of the trekking is descent and then appears through flat land until Birethati we will stop at Birethati and after walking about 30 minutes to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara and Tonight stay at a hotel. Including: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and standard accommodation

Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (6 Hours).
On the way and we are able to see countryside settlements, gushing rivers, terraces, and green rural landscapes. After 6/7 hours driving, we will arrive in Kathmandu. Tonight stay at a hotel.

Our Guide and Porters:
Our guides and Sherpa have responsible and long experience in trekking field. Guide speaks English and keeps knowledge about the mountain, mountain sickness, people, and culture. Generally, he will have a right to choose a guest house to stop overnight and right to take a necessary decision if the weather is not favorable if you are physically not in good condition or if there any potential danger of life or etc.
Nepal Unique Treks will provide a porter (helper to carry the luggage) with warm clothing while going to the high mountain. We give priority to the local porter as much as possible.

Guest House during the Trek:
There are nice and clean guest houses in the village on the way to trekking, also known as a tea house. We will accommodate to our trekkers in that guest houses. You will have your own room (twin sharing) and a bathroom is outside. They are safe and people are friendly.

Meal during the Trek:
The general understanding in the mountain, you buy food from the same guest house where you say. We will buy a freshly cooked food from the local guest house. They will have a standard menu which is set by the Local Lodge Management Committee. You can choose your meal from the menu. Food is clean and delicious but not well decorated like a city

Medical facilities during the Trek:
There are rare medical facilities in the mountain. We generally recommend to you bringing own medicine if you having regular medicine otherwise we provide our guide and Sherpa will carry first aid Kidd for all team like (a headache, stomach ache, painkiller, Diamox, bandage, iodine, cotton, gauze, Hansa Plast, common cold, diarrhea, ) to the normal situation. If it is serious, you should go down or call an emergency evacuation.

Electricity during the Trek:
There is not enough electricity in Nepal. You could expect power cut in some certain time of the day. While you are on the mountain, you will require electricity to charge your battery, mobile, camera or etc. generally, they will ask you to pay extra money for charging. Most of the guest house they use solar power electricity and due to bad weather, not enough power to charge your things, we suggest bringing battery power bank and headlight

Drinking water in Mountain
There is bottle water available along the normal trekking trail. Besides that, you can take your own water filter or can buy a medicine to purify the normal water. Further, you can buy boil water as well as in trekking. We suggest keeping clean environment best way to use boiled water and medicine to purify the normal water

Telephone and the internet during the Trek:
Most of the village has Wi-Fi, internet facilities. However, you can buy a local telephone SIM card (NCL or NAMASTE) which will help you to buy the internet and use with your Smartphone set. You can use for calling to anyone if it requires at the same time.

Transportations while traveling in Nepal
There require or to use a local transport or you may want to use them as well as. The local people or local club will force to use their transport facilities. The price will be negotiable and a vehicle could be old and with very basic services.

Emergency evacuation:
You might have to be rescued due to some accident or serious ill. We can send rescue Helicopter service immediately to bring you back Kathmandu hospital. The helicopter services are expensive in Nepal. We recommend you to buy insurance which covers search and rescue in need. After you rescued, Nepal Unique Treks can help you for documentation to claim the payment.
